Wind Projects
EcoEnergy is developing over 20 projects in the Midwest (Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana) as well as other parts of the country. These projects range in size from 10 – 200 MW and will total over 2000 MW of wind power, enough to power well over half a million homes per year.
Some projects are constructed in partnership with large turbine manufacturers, with EcoEnergy retaining an ownership share and involvement in the ongoing operation to ensure a local, domestic presence. In addition to experience with the development phases for a variety of alternative energy sources (including wind and biofuels), EcoEnergy can provide any necessary engineering and construction expertise necessary as facilities are finalized, providing a turn-key solution for partnering developers when needed.
