Wind Projects
EcoEnergy is developing over 30 projects in the Midwest (Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana) as well as other parts of the country. These projects range in size from 10 – 200 MW and will total nearly 3000 MW of wind power, enough to power almost a million homes per year.
Some projects are constructed in partnership with large turbine manufacturers, with EcoEnergy retaining an ownership share and involvement in the ongoing operation to ensure a local, domestic presence. Others are handled completely by EcoEnergy, or EcoEnergy in concert with other investors. Whatever is needed to get a renewable energy project up and running, we can make it happen. Our complete range of vertical integration capabilities is truly unique amongst U.S. alternative energy companies. From initial development through design and engineering, construction and commissioning, and then on to operation, maintenance and eventual de-commissioning, we are a one-stop shop for wind energy projects.
