Prospecting for Sites
- Identifying a convergence of the key elements of a wind farm: wind resource, land, transmission access, and construction suitability

- Modeling and analyzng the wind energy production potential
- Creating a detailed project plan and budget
- Developing GIS mapping of the project area
Evaluating the Resource and Developing the Project
- Deploying and maintaining a meteorological tower
- Modeling a turbine array to optimize the net capacity factor
- Utilizing agreements for leases and easements that offer a high degree of protection for both the landowners and our development partners
- Building extensive mapping to intelligently design a productive system while protecting cultural, infrastructure, and environmental resources
- Conducting biological and geotechnical studies
- Designing preliminary transmission line and substation layouts
- Initiating and carrying forward permitting applications
