Construction Management
Site Preparation, Cost Estimating, Engineering Oversight and Construction Management – what EcoEnergy can do.
EcoEnergy has the resources, expertise and experience to handle the full range of construction management services for any renewable energy project. Recently, we managed construction for a 180 MW wind energy facility in the Dakotas. We also developed, engineered and managed construction for the EcoGrove 100 MW wind energy facility in Illinois. Ask about our numerous cogeneration and conventional power generation facilities as well.
Successful Development by Design
We involve construction professionals early in the process to integrate constructability considerations at the beginning stages of development. Challenges inherent with construction can be mitigated up front through a collaborative approach with engineering and design. This leads to more accurate cost and time-to-build estimates, shortens the construction phase, and allows the project to begin operations more quickly.
The Construction Plan
A good plan creates a successful wind project that is on time, within budget, and welcomed by the community. Our focus on the integration and continuity between development and construction is essential. Nothing is harder on a project than for the participating landowners and the community to watch the developer disappear when the construction crews arrive. EcoEnergy makes the development and construction process continuous by design.
On-Site Management
EcoEnergy’s on-site management ensures safety, quality, proper sequencing, and cost control. Throughout the entire process, we manage the many sub-contractors at the work site so projects are built on schedule and within budget. Our focus on safety and public outreach to communities and landowners throughout construction gains acceptance for the project at each phase. EcoEnergy's processes deliver successful, economically viable projects to our partners and community.

Case Study: EcoGrove
Stephenson County, Illinois is the home of EcoGrove, a 67-turbine project. It will produce 100 Megawatts, enough to power over 25,000 homes.
EcoEnergy managed each phase of the project from the initial development into construction.
